Legal right of withdrawal for products sold by Lendo Online

Sight period and exceptions
For most products sold by Lendo Online, there is a legal trial period of 14 calendar days. For some products there is no trial period, or you lose the right to return the product due to a certain action. More information on which product categories are exempt can be found in the section exceptions to the right of withdrawal below.
The trial period expires 14 days after the day on which you or a third party designated by you (not the carrier) received the product. In case multiple products are ordered, the trial period only starts the day after you receive the last product. During the trial period you may only view and evaluate the product as you would in a physical store. Should you have gone beyond what is necessary to determine the nature and characteristics of the product during the trial period, you are responsible for any diminished value that may have occurred as a result and Lendo Online is entitled to offset this loss of value against any amounts we would have to refund to you. It is therefore important that you handle the product carefully and cautiously during the trial period. We also request that you always return the products in their original packaging, as far as reasonably possible.
Please note that the legal right of withdrawal only applies if you made the purchase as a consumer.

How to exercise your right of withdrawal

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw from the purchase before the expiration of the trial period. You can communicate this in several ways:

3. By sending us the European model withdrawal form. Use of this form is not mandatory.
We prefer that you use one of the options above. If you would like to receive this form, please request it from info@lendo-online.eu
4. Or by sending another unequivocal statement to Lendo Online to: Lendo B.V., Kraaiendonk 14, 5428 NZ, Venhorst, Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands

For those cases where you use the option on the Lendo Online website to indicate that you are exercising your right of withdrawal, we will promptly send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal via a secure medium (e.g. by e-mail).

Refund after revocation
If you withdraw from the contract, we will refund all payments made by you up to that point (for the part affected by the withdrawal) as soon as possible and in any event no later than 14 days after we have been informed of your decision to withdraw. We may, however, delay the refund until we have received the product back or until you have proven that you have returned it, whichever occurs first. We will always refund you using the same means of payment with which you made the original transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise together. For example, if you accept a voucher from us instead of a refund. In any case, no fees will be charged for carrying out the refund.

Return products and return costs
After revocation, you must return the products in question as soon as possible and in any case no later than 14 calendar days after the day on which you communicate your revocation. You have fulfilled this obligation if you return the products in question before this period of 14 calendar days has expired.

The product can be returned to the address agreed with the seller (Lendo Online). The addresses may vary because products sold on Lendo Online are shipped from different warehouses by several of its partners.

For products that cannot be returned by regular mail (e.g. furniture) but have been delivered to the consumer by regular mail, you must take into account shipping costs charged by various (collection) and delivery services. These costs are estimated at a maximum of approximately EUR 250.00. The cost of returning goods that do not fit within the limits of the regular postal service will be entirely at your own expense.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawalt

The right of withdrawal does not apply with respect to:
- products that spoil quickly or have a limited shelf life;
- products that are not suitable to be returned for reasons of health protection or hygiene and whose seal has been broken after delivery (think: cosmetics);
- Custom products or products clearly intended for a specific person (think: a T-shirt printed to your liking);
- audio and video recordings and computer software whose seal has been broken after delivery (think: a sealed DVD containing a certain film);
- products that by their nature are irrevocably mixed with other items after delivery (think: refueled gasoline);
- alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed upon at the conclusion of a consumer purchase, but whose delivery can only take place after thirty days, and whose actual value depends on fluctuations in the market beyond the trader's control (think: special season wines);
- loose newspapers, magazines or journals.
