Statutory Right of Withdrawal for Products Sold by Lendo Online
Cooling-Off Period and Exceptions
For all products sold by Lendo Online, a statutory cooling-off period of 30 calendar days applies. For certain products, no cooling-off period applies, or you may lose your right to return the product as a result of a specific action. More information about which product categories are excluded can be found in the section “Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal” below.
The cooling-off period expires 30 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), has received the product. If multiple products were ordered in a single order, the cooling-off period begins on the day after you have received the last product.
During the cooling-off period, you may only inspect and assess the product as you would in a physical store. If you go beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the product during this period, you are responsible for any depreciation resulting from such use. Lendo Online is entitled to deduct this loss in value from the amount to be refunded to you. It is therefore important that you handle the product carefully and with due care during the cooling-off period. We also request that you return the products in their original packaging, insofar as reasonably possible.
Please note: the statutory right of withdrawal applies only if you have made the purchase as a consumer.
How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us before the cooling-off period expires of your decision to withdraw from the purchase. You may do so in the following ways:
1. Via our webchat
2. Via our email address: info@lendo-online.eu
3. By sending us the European Model Withdrawal Form. Use of this form is not mandatory. We prefer that you use one of the options listed above. If you wish to receive this form, you may request it via info@lendo-online.eu
4. By sending another unambiguous statement to Lendo Online at:
Lendo B.V.
Kraaiendonk 14
5428 NZ Venhorst
North Brabant
The Netherlands
If you use the option on the Lendo Online website to indicate that you are exercising your right of withdrawal, we will promptly send you an acknowledgment of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium (for example, by email).
Refund After Withdrawal
If you withdraw from the agreement, you will receive all payments made up to that point (for the portion to which the withdrawal relates) as soon as possible and, in any event, no later than 14 days after we have been informed of your decision to withdraw from the agreement.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the product back or until you have provided proof that you have returned it, whichever occurs first.
We will always reimburse you using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise (for example, if you accept a voucher instead of a refund). No fees will be charged for processing the refund.
Returning Products and Return Costs
After withdrawal, you must return the relevant products as soon as possible and in any event no later than 30 calendar days after the day on which you notified us of the withdrawal. You have fulfilled this obligation if you return the products before this 30-day period has expired.
The product must be returned to the address agreed upon with the seller (Lendo Online). The return addresses may vary, as products sold by Lendo Online are shipped from different warehouses operated by various partners.
For products that cannot be returned by regular postal services (e.g. furniture), but were delivered to the consumer by standard delivery services, you should take into account shipping costs charged by various collection and delivery providers. These costs are estimated at a maximum of approximately EUR 250.00. The costs for returning goods that do not fall within the limits of standard parcel services are entirely at your own expense.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
-products that spoil quickly or have a limited shelf life;
-products that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and whose seal has been broken after delivery (e.g. cosmetics);
-custom-made products or products clearly intended for a specific person (e.g. a T-shirt printed according to your specifications);
-audio and video recordings and computer software whose seal has been broken after delivery (e.g. a sealed DVD containing a specific film);
products that, after delivery, have been irreversibly mixed with other goods due to their nature (e.g. fuel once pumped);
-alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed upon at the time of concluding the consumer purchase agreement, but whose delivery can only take place after thirty days and whose actual value depends on market fluctuations beyond the trader’s control (e.g. special seasonal wines);
-single newspapers, periodicals, or magazines.
